Grew them from seed wouldn't care i gave loads away aswell and now the way its going i'm gonna have nowt but there's always next year .Fingers crossed.
As far as I know there is no chemical control available to treat cabbage root fly. However, you may wish to try growing under fleece in future (it ain't going to go away) or use nematodes.......a species for use against cabbage root fly larvae and other pests, including the larvae of carrot fly, onion fly, leatherjackets, chafer grubs, sciarid flies, caterpillars, gooseberry sawfly, thrips and codling moth.

the old remedy was mercurous chloride applied as a paste to the roots when transplanting(no longer available)
