Succulent Problems

TabbyfaTabbyfa Posts: 35

I'm treating this Gardeners World forum like a little problem solving team! Excuse me for all the posts! I bought this little succulent from the local flower shop. It seemed a little sad when I bought it as it was being kept indoors near the cash desk - I brought it home and put it outside with the rest of my succulents (first image when I first bought it)  and in about a few  days it had started to change colours and look worse off *second image*

However within a week or two it started to shed it's leaves and some of them were even rotting off *last images* Does anyone have any advice on how to save this little guy?

Did you put it straight out of doors, or did you harden it off first?

Erm... I put it straight outside... any advice on how to bring it back? I've taken the fallen leaves and planted them to root new plants but in terms of keeping this one happy... any tips?

Put it somewhere warm and stop watering it.

It looks as though the leaves are scorched or frosted. Put somewhere warm and water it from the bottom. Make sure the compost it is in is free draining. I think it is an echevaria.

Thank you image I had it on the patio floor just below my sugar snap peas so it's also possible that water splashed on it and then as I'm in an East facing patio it may have been scorched. It wouldn't be frost as I'm in London with no frost since I bought it. I've moved it to a cooler spot and will be sure to water it less and from the bottom.
