CORRECT name for this weed killer please?

I`ve been told by a "gardener" that there is a weed killer (to get rid of daisies in my case) and it is called "BERDOE extra" He told me that is how it is spelt, but as nothing similar came up via an online search I have to assume he has got something wrong.
What could he be referring to?

Verdone? maybe.
Don't you like daisies?

There are increasingly strict rules about what products and formulations are available for us by home gardeners and fewer options available.
If you have unwanted daisies in your lawn, use a purpose made Lawn Weed and Feed application in spring and autumn. There are several available and they will treat all broad leaved weeds and feed the grass to make it grow stronger. Just follow the instructions on the pack.
If they are daisies in your border, just hoe the off at the crown. No need for chemicals that may harm other plants you do wish to keep.
Thanks for answering my question Nutcutlet. I`m 99.9% sure that will be what he said. A letter V does sound like a letter B over the phone.
I've never used it, so can't comment on it's use but I've seen it on the shelves in the GC.
I live with a lovely area of grass and other plants which flower whenever they get the chance

I use Verdone lawn weed killer in a hand spray for spot weed killing dandelions and the like in the lawn.
Like Firecracker I use Verdone for spot weeding on dandelions. The daisies I leave though because how would any visiting children be able to make daisy chains otherwise?
