Help I have mares tail in my rockery. People say this can't be got rid of. I this true. I'm at the end of my tether.

Just keep pulling it out as soon as it pops up. Its easier to move house than get rid of it.
Soooooo hard to get rid of! If you dont mind using chemicals then crush the plant with your foot or hand to allow chemicals to get into plant, and then spray, it will take a long long time. Good luck!
I don't use weedkiller because of the dog, so have just been pulling it out over the last 2 years. so far this year, it does seem like there is less of it popping up, or maybe thats just wishful thinking :-/

It's often called Mare's Tail, but usually people are talking about Field Horsetail.
