Cut power cable repair?

  Very sensible advice Paulk2. My socket was clearly marked and I was confident but you are totally right. If in doubt, ask a sparks. 

   

  Oh, and use powerbreakers.

  Yep. I was almost rich when Himself cut that power cable. Two power breakers tripped. The one in the extension lead and the one in the box that controls the garage sockets.
  
  
  
  At least the whole house didn't go off!

  If you know a competent electrician  they can very quickly and easily repair this for you. It might be worth asking who you know!
