I have just taken delivery of two plants and I am not convinced that they have been labelled up correctly.

The picture below shows both of them (I was just about to plant them).  Can you give me your thoughts as to which of them is the Agapanthus and which is the Hemerocallis (Day Lilly).  Hope you can help.

Thats what I though GM but they had a label dropped inside the packaging that said the opposite.

    Thanks for your help.

i expect you know already but day lillies spread everywhere so if you want to contain them in an area dig in a really strong barrier around them. the lady that lived here before me 15yrs ago had planted them and i dug them up about 10 years ago and i still have them coming up in different places every year.

Hi Sanjy, I've not had a problem with them here.  Have had a yellow one in garden for 4 years and it's stayed in a clump just got a bit bigger.  Hope this one behaves itself too.

You need to divide them up about every four years or they may stop flowering.
