Wow! I could put Phyllis Bide on one leg a clematis on the other then on the back leg put a rose and/or clematis that thrive in shade, it is sounding quite exciting. I have just bought some sweetpea seeds,as Monty reckons it is the best time.Oh no! he said it was early winter didn't he? I await the time when I will be able to take photo's and if the results are as good as yours, I'll be very happy

I am going to put a clematis to grow up through my Phyllis Bide - again only planted in november so will have to wait a while.
Lilylouise - that photo is amazing. How hard do you cut back that clematis?
