Squirrels eating my sunflowers.
Does anyone have any idea how I can stop grey squirrels from dead-heading my sunflowers, please? These are varieties such as Russian giant and giant yellow. I grow the sunflowers indoors until they're about 3' tall, then plant them out into the garden and in no time, the squirrels have chewed off the flowers. It's very frustrating. Thanks.

set a trap and kill them. They're vermin. IMHO
I have a friend whose house went on fire after squirrels moved into his attic and ate through the electricity cables.
Each to his own though.
