how close would you plant Daphne Eternal Fragrance to one another?

in Plants
hi,
my local Wyevale had Daphne Eternal Fragrance (nice big plants - I think 3 litre pots) on offer for £15 each which I think will be perfect for my part shadey border for some evergreen colour and long flowering interest so I got 3 which I want to plant next to eachother.
The question is this...the label says they will grow to 90cm tall and wide but I've researched and can see they are slow growers (10-20 years until fully grown)
how far apart would you plant them? i'm tempted to do them side by side so the outer branches are just touching but then it doesn't future proof them but looks good now.

oh that a shame, do you happen to know where the poor reviews on the forum were so I can read up a bit more please?
One of then was mine. I found it dull in leaf compared to D. tangutica for example. and no more fragrant. Being a sterile hybrid it also lacked the red berries.
But all irrelevant now, it died a bit at a time over a couple of years and died completely last summer

I've been seduced by this photo on pinterest of a lovely hedge of Daphnes:

really not sure what i'll do now
I have had a D. tangutica for many years now and it's still thriving. During that time I've lost 2 odoras and 2 mezereums. Laureola seems to survive as well

thanks for the advice everyone, I think I will plant them in 3 different places around the garden instead of a hedge.
i'll report back with how they get along and maybe see if I can find a friends dog to come and wee on them occasionally
