some of the twigs have little bit if green
I have scratched the long branch and it is green
so cut of all the dead wood but hot do a sort out the mill dew problem?
how many times do spray the plant ?
do I keep watering plant at night as well ?
so I should leave watering the plant at the moment .I have only been watering when we had no rain, how many times are you have to water this plant ?
plus the plant is buried with pebble's on top
Is it in the ground or in a pot? I'd water whenever the compost felt dry, or if recently planted out, 1-2 times per week depending on the weather. I can't see why a Salix would suffer from overwatering provided there is decent drainage. If it's sat in water that would be different.
To be honest the plant looks pretty awful and if it were mine, I'd get rid. But trim off the dead wood (always cut to a just above a growth point like a bud or healthy branch) and see what happens! (If you leave stubs of wood above a growth point, the wood dies but stays on the plant, and can introduce disease).
the plant is in the ground, brought the plant last year it was doing well when the winter came the leaves dropped off then in May 2015 we saw some leaves on it .Then the leaves stated to go brown
I have recently bought Salix flamingo and in pots shaped into spheres but notice some leaves are turning brown what can do to stop that
how often should I be watering and to get really pink ends to the leaves ????
hi, i have the same problem with my salix flamingo which is in a container - the tips of the pink leaves are turning brown - is this due to the heat? any suggestions please?
