Two mystery plants

I brought a pot of dug up plants from previous garden - one has long stems and leaves like Japanese Azalea but small flowers like native geranium. Is this a weed? The other was here when I moved in - dark green leaves shaped rather like coarse Cannabis! It grew from longish corms (?) and now has greeny white, feathery flowers with merest hint of pink at the centre on long stems, well above the leaves. The flower shape is slightly bell like but not pointing down. The petals have serrated edges and the centre has a mass of stamens. Quite a delicate looking flower. My iPad wont let me post photo, although I will keep trying! Any ideas folks? My front garden is sunny and rather 'gappy'' so I'd like to plant these out in the border if this aspect is suitable.

Have you any photos ?
Lyn, try uploading your photos to a photo hosting site then post the links here. Unfortunately the photo upload on this site doesn't (yet) work with some iPads and mobile phones.
Could the second one be a Hellebore?
I still have some in flower. The flowers do tend to point down though. Are the leaves a bit serrated?
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I wonder about astrantia for the second.

Good shout nut - sounds much more like that now you mention it

I'd have a stab at the first one if I knew what Japanese azalea leaves looked like

Re uploading of photos: I saw a response to the problem of uploading photos which worked for me. When the rather long error message appears, simply close it by clicking on the x and wait for a couple of minutes. The photo should upload eventually. Hope this helps.
Hi Fairygirl
yes leaves are serrated so could be. I don't usually like Hellebores but this is fairly unusual. Flowers a lot smaller than the ones I've seen. Will try to post a photo - with laptop if all else fails. Thanks.
Thanks HCS it worked!
For some reason, iPad was a bit more responsive after good night's sleep!
The second is Geranium nodosum - the 'straight' version. Mine have much deeper pink/purple flowers, as it's from a nursery where they have several varieties (and it's a 'mongrel' seedling from them) but the shape of the flowers and leaves is the same. Supposed to be a great plant for dry shade.
