ah booo...ive heard of the weevil issue....hope its not that...
and yeah i guess i have been watering a bit recently......should i give em a break?
Don't most salvias like dry conditions?
oh dear ........
and ideas about the wilting jacobs Ladder?
Salvia prefer dry and well draining.
I have several Jacob's Ladder plants in my garden (not in pots) and they do the same as yours Hefty. I never water mine. The top growth of the stems where the flowers form is very soft, so it might just be the plants way of dealing with the extra weight of the developing flowers until the stems harden. Mine have always straightened up at a later stage when more flowers have opened, so I'd leave them alone if I were you.
What are they like this morning? Plants often drop a bit in the heat of the sun.
