How to prevent Rust on Leeks, Onions,and Chives. Bad last year and returned this year on overwintered Garlic and Onions

    It's the overwintering that's the problem which allows the rust to survive and infect new plants.  Don't overwinter anything this year and you'll have a better chance of being clear next year.

    Does the fungicide mix (Edd) work on onion neck-rot?  It devastated my onions and leeks last year, first time I've ever had a problem.  There are no commercial fungicides available for food crops, only roses.
