Bamboo leaves turning yellow

I have moved some bamboo from a border to an area at the back of the garden - we have had a large evergreen taken down that was too big and I thought the bamboo would be perfect for screeining purposes In spite of preparing the ground and watering well the leaves have turned yellow and in fact look more like fine straw. Any advice would be most welcome. Thanks.

Well you've moved it, so it's still settling down. Keep it well watered and in time it will green up again.

Colehill I have 2 'Great Wall' which I moved three years ago.  They were about 7ft tall and took up a couple of foot space at the base.  When I moved them I poured three buckets of water on each and then the same a few days later.  They greened up and were gorgeous in about two to three weeks.  Not saying I did the right thing - but they came back beautifully.

Right, I shall keep them well watered and hopefully have the same success . Thanks.
