My rosemary has speckles all over all of its leaves and has lots of grasshopper spit on it. Does it have some sort of desease,are the speckles and the spit connected? Is it safe to use in cookery if it has speckles? Please help somebody

That's caused by thrips, they're not connected, but it safe to use in cooking. Just a wash under the tap before use.

Iv'e looked at the pictures you posted and that is exactly how my rosemary looks. As you say it doesn't matter for culinary purposes then I will just leave it.
