Kniphofia not flowering......... :-(
Jo - i've waited 3 years for flowers, but have more than one spike per plant this year. Don't know about moving though. My crocosmias have all flowered in their first year.
i'm not a great mover of plants (too timid) but others on here do it all the time, so I must get braver....nothing ventured, as they say

Jo Kniphofia like good to very good drainage, if you soil is too humus rich it won't like it. I planted a different variety last year in a well drained sunny bank and it's gone mad this year so if you move it put plenty of grit in the planting hole. They split very easily and move quite well so moving won't be a problem, but drainage usually is. There are varieties you can get which prefer more moisture, so plant according to your conditions.
They don't all flower at the same time either, some much earlier than others.
