Not sure if this will work yet but... Had people collecting mini jam jars from their cream teas, without any idea of how to use them (I know they've been humouring me!). 2days ago filled with homemade seed compost & seeds. Uses minimum of limited amount compost & space on windowsills. I'll just pot up promptly if germinate. When done I'll wash jars & stash away again awaiting another idea!
Also have neighbour collecting her daily individual jelly pots too. (She hoards them anyway, so we're doing each other a favour!!)

If you lack seeding propagator's you can use old plastic cartons that hold your washing machine tabs
some off theses tips had me in stitches

another one for seeding propagator's, plastic (that ugly word again edd) egg cartons, and another eco friendly one is cardboard egg cartons.
Old gazebo frames make good cages, even better if you only use one part of the legs instead of two or three
Trampoline nets make good gooseberry covers
Empty drinks cans make good net holder uppers so the net doesn't get caught on the stick
Empty bean tins make excellent post toppers so the post doesn't split when you are ramming it into the ground
Yogurt pots make very good seedling starter offers
Milk cartons with the tops cut off and holes drilled into the bottom make very good pots to put on the side of posts to grow herbs and such like
I'll be thinking of loads more now!

sewing with seeds? how does one get them through the needles?
I'll get my coat.
That's fabulous Edd!
But what is he planning? An auricula theatre? An outdoor seating venue for when he performs his 'hits of Robbie Williams' karaoke evenings?
