Aconitum
I would like Aconitum carmichaelii Arsendsii in my border I got a perfect picture in my head how good it would look , but I am a bit worried it might poison my neighbours
is it really as poisons as they say, even to touch? I wanted to plant one next to my white currant, I dont really pick them but the birds have a good do out of them would it poison the birds as well?
Any good ideals for something similar blue about 5ft, flowers late in the season.

I grow it, nobody has died. Birds that eat berries will be disappointed with aconitum. No berries.
In the sticks near Peterborough
lovely colour stainless steal, I might give one or two ago and hope nobody foolish enough to eat them
I went far royal flush in the end. nice red foliage in spring and smaller than arsendsii so I it come closer to the front of the border rather than the back were neighbours could possibly come in contact with it.
I am going to get stainless steel one day looks great.
I bought Royal Flush a few months ago Perki. I haven't noticed any change to the leaf colour but perhaps when it settles in
Stainless Steel is also new to me this year - I thought it might look nice with lythrum salicaria dropmore purple (if they flower at the same time)...
