    The glass bowlimage

I had a couple of rescue goldfish that I put in the pond at my last garden. They spent several weeks swimming round in a small circle in the corner where they were released before they managed to move on

  • Like i said previously after reading the above posts it has definitely made me change my mind. I genually  posted this post for genuine reasons and I have found some comments unhelpful and sarcastic. I now know not to ask anything again for the fear of getting the same unhelpful responses!

  • I found the above comments unhelpful and sarcastoc Jo I have asked lots of other questions and got really good responses, this time around not so good, I am an animal lover and I have animals myself and give them the best of everything, so my question was a genuine one.

This is a common response in fish keeping subjects.

Please advise which comments are unhelpful or challenging.

To be honest, suggesting these answers are sarcastic leaves me slightly dumbfounded.

    I'll re- read the posts.

I'm often accused of being abrupt or unfriendly.

But when it comes to animals , I say it as I see and know it.

    Anyway.

    To Maxine.

A wildlife pond will be cheaper and bring many times more variety to your garden.

    Less hassle.

    More critters.

    More fun!
  • i find the comments like folding fish in half and fish were around before filters sarcastic, I didn't state every comment just some and as I said to Jo I am an animal lover and would not harm anything!

The folding fish comment was a joke for Darren and fish were around in ponds before filters, Sorry if I caused offenseimage

Folding fish, actually, highlights are very serious issue.

Baby goldfish sold in shops will grow almost exponentiallly in good conditions

I thought so Jo but forums aren't for everyoneimage

We're just people Maxine, like you. We're not a panel of experts employed to answer questions. We discuss and give opinions. Sometimes people fall out and get quite worked up, But it's just a forum made up of anyone who wants to join.
