Tiny black insects on cornflowers. Please help.

Hi all. I am new to gardening. I have planted cornflowers from seeds and now they are 2 ft tall and have got buds now. However, since one week i am observing lots of black tiny insects on the stem. Some of them have wings. They dont seem to move a lot. But definitely increasing in numbers. Are they dangerous. Would they prevent my cornflowers from flowering? I have taken a photo of them. How to get rid of them if they are harmful to the plant?

Aphids VN, nothing to worry about, sqiush them or rub them off with your fingers.

They sound like blackfly. They are aphids and will feed off the pan's sap so you need to get rid of them ASAP. You can squish them if you don't mind getting your hands dirty or spray them with a bug killer.
