Hi there everyone, I was reading up on Epsom salt the other day and they say that you can use Epsom salt in the garden, has anyone use this? Could you please advice? Thank you.

I did read something about Epsom salts in the garden last year but can't remember what for now.....it might have had something to do wth tomato blight / blossom end rot but I might be totally wrong!! I think it was possibly to do with balancing Ph in soil???
I'm buying some tomorrow for my detox bath

If u want to use salt, don't buy it, it is free, go to ur local beach and lift seaweed, this is an organic means to the same end, kills all moss, and feeds your plants for free!
What is chlorosis please?
On a non-gardening topic, please waste your money in the garden how you wish but there is no such thing as detox! So don't waste your money on that.
Chlorosis is a general term to mean yellowing of leaves - it basically means lack of chorophyll which is what makes leaves look green. Epsom salts will help in those cases where the problem is lack of Magnesium in the growing medium, but there are a lot of possible causes for yellowing leaves so it is far from a universal panacea but is cheap so well worth trying first.
Good for acid lovers, such as camellias, rhodos and azaleas, to help them absorb nutrients.
Would you water the soil or spray the leaves only or both? And can you over dose
