Peony

LandlubberLandlubber Posts: 396

I have a massive peony that needs to be moved to another place. This is because I have a water butt that needs to go close to the drainpipe on the back of the house. At the moment it is in a south facing position. I don't want to lose this plant as it is so beautiful. Any suggestions on the best way to move it?

I'd do it in the dormant season, get the maximum amount of root possible and don't plant any deeper than it is now
