Can anyone tell me why my lavender is leaning over my pot like it wants to get out?

Plants like Lavender will only usually go floppy when they have something wrong with them. Is it too dry? Or pot bounds and needing re-potted?
Pot bound would be my first guess too Jimmy. Dianthus are the same, I repot mine when they start to get like that, or split them. If it's wilting and it's happened suddenly , check that it's not vine weevil at the roots Landlubber. Hopefully not though.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
