Wild crocosmia is not flowering
8 years ago I transplanted wild crocosmia to a pot and it flourished and flowered. 3 years ago I transplanted it to my garden. It has grown a lot but it has not flowered. What can I do?

It could need to be divided. Or it could have too much nitrogen in the soil. Too much nitrogen causes great leaf growth and few flowers or no flowers at all. Hope this helps.
As this was six weeks ago, I wonder if it's flowering now, we may never know!
Mine has only the tiniest buds that you have to search for, and that's now. Certainly had no signs six weeks ago.
I'm having a similar problem this year with our hemerocallis (seems a similar sort of plant, but probably isn't!). I don't fed it at all, and my watering leaves a lot to be desired. Only a few flower spikes this year compared to loads in previous few years.
Verdun, it's been like this for days, it's well refreshed, typical Dartmoor mist.
Believe it when I see it Verdun!
