help to identify please

Hi can anyone help me identify this tree growing in my front garden. The flowers are very 'frothy' and quite pretty but it is growing very quickly and I'd like to identify it so I know when and how's I can prune it. Thank you

Might be Fraxinus ornus, Manna Ash. Not a tree I know well so can't be more definite

I've just looked at the chionanthus, the flowers are very similar but the leaves are differentimage

I wonder if I can fit in another tree.image

  • Thanks for your replies, after some investigation, now that you've pointed me in the right direction I think it is indeed a Manna Ash, now I can organise pruning. Thank you for your witty banter and expert knowledge.
