What are these?
My daughter has a small indoor greenhouse. She has overwatered it and water has accumulated at the bottom in the gravel. She has found dozens of small white/pale grey creatures, some with purplish markings, in the gravel and on the plants, all of these are about 1 cm long. She thinks they are slugs but I'm not sure. What could they be?

Sound like slugs! Tell her to get every last one out or they will munch her tender shoots! And stomp on them or drop them in salty water bucket I believe, moving them isn't enough! Its so upsetting seeing everything you have nurtured being destroyed by slugs!!!
