Bonsai - Buddhist Pine

I bought this plant three months back and the day I got it - I dropped an electric drill on it, don't ask.... Anyway, I checked for any damage and re-potted it with a thin layer of pea shingle on the top to retain moisture. It is doing well now but don't suggest doing what I did if you have a bonsai...
