Planting 2 plants in the same place (idiot gardener) hostas

a1154a1154 Posts: 1,108

I must admit, i dont know if I have messed up here, or its self seeded, but i seem to have plants on top of my hostas in 2 or 3 places.  Hostas are growing, but the plant on top is much larger (i think its a michaelmas daisy).

Should i dig them up and replant?  Its hot and dry at the moment.

I'd split them. The michaelmas daisy is probably on a world takeover bid already
