Ground bees and water the garden.

Hello all, I am new to this forum and if I am posting in the wrong section or anything along those lines, please don't hesitate to correct me. :]

I have encountered a dilemma today, watering my garden as per usual, I again noticed that there were little holes littered about by my geraniums. Today I saw that the holes were being excavated by little bees, some sort of ground bee I suppose, but what do I do about watering? Will their burrows and nests survive a sprinkling of water? I watered around the holes and the geraniums, but couldn't avoid a slight trickle (that was sucked up by the dry clay earth rather rapidly!). Surely they can survive rain, so my plant feeding should be no harm either?

Good day and thank you for reading, I appreciate all answers.

Yep if they can survive rain, they can survive occasional watering. Make a little depression in the ground next to your plant, and give that a slog of water when you go past, if you want to avoid the bees, though. That's probably also going to increase the chance of the water getting down to the plant's roots too. (Rather than soaking into the bone dry surface of the soil and then evaporating).

The bees will be alright if you still water or they wouldn't have nested there
