No its a cutting from parents garden. Got a few others in seed trays which are fine, but typically the one I potted on isn't looking good. Will post photos when a device capable has charged!
This advice is just for the paranoid. If you have a diseased plant then you don't want to pass whatever it is on to the next plant in the pot. You can sterilise soil in the oven or microwave and give the pot a good scrub with detergent.
Brilliant thanks, didn't want to nurture it if not healthy but will cut it nack. Aphids sound likely as they've moved into other things nearby. Thanks. Mint is a weed at my parents so know how determined it can be hence why its in a big pot

If a plant looks diseased then I always get rid of it ASAP. No point in keeping something that isn't going to grow well.
If I remove it can I replant in samesoil or will I have to remove the soil too?

It looks perfectly healthy tbh, it's probably aphid damage on first soft growth. Pick the leaf off and cut it back,it'll soon regrow.
Dave, I was just going to say - aphid damage - often seen on young mint leaves. Pick it off or use a soapy water spray. Nothing to worry about.
