Primrose leaves
i have quite a few primroses in pits in my garden ( as it is all patio). I have noticed that my primroses seem to have loads of big leaves and it looks like the flowers are struggling to get through. Would I damage or kill the plant if I removed some of the leaves to make space for the flowers?

Primulas tend to grow more leaves after flowering and get quite congested. Now is a good time to divide the plants and make more. Here's a video to show you how

By all means split up the clumps. Water them well until they are established when you replant.
