Drainage
in Talkback
my patio is made of flagstones and had cement grouting which is long gone. I'd like to tidy it up by filling in the gaps but would like to use something that provides free drainage, rather than cement. any ideas?

Hi Elaine
You can use sand and sweep it into the gaps
There is a sand that is produced for sweeping into the gaps in the flagstones. It is similar to what they use on patios with block paving. Dont know what its called though.
Downside is that it will either get washed away or blown away by the wind over the course of time
Hope this helps
You can mix the seeds of prostrate creeping plants with the sand - it'll look gorgeous.
