Anyone know this gorgeous shiny green beetle. He is a good 2inches long and brighter thsn the pic?

    Some of them are now very rare and several thought to be extinct in the UK, so worth getting it properly identified - try here:

    Yes, thats him Bob, he's beautiful and what an unusual reproductive system.

    I never crushed him to see what oil came out Pansy. I just used rapeseed oil tonight.

    I have reported him to the buglife site.
