  • It is so pretty - I have both a white and a pink one - but I think it seefseeds vigorously and needs to be taught how to behave.  Basically it's a wild flower, but lovely ibn the right place.

    They have been particularly good in the hedgerows this year, around our way.

    Hi gardenning granny and Forester2, Yes it is actually quite a nice looking plant, and if my memory serves me right, I think it was from a packet of free wild seeds I applied for the year before last, this plant did not flower last year but it has done well this time. But as you say, it might need a bit of `management`. It looks like this at the moment.....image

    Looks gorgeous, red campion is a lovely plant and deserves a place in any garden, IMO.
