It is so pretty - I have both a white and a pink one - but I think it seefseeds vigorously and needs to be taught how to behave. Basically it's a wild flower, but lovely ibn the right place.
Hi gardenning granny and Forester2, Yes it is actually quite a nice looking plant, and if my memory serves me right, I think it was from a packet of free wild seeds I applied for the year before last, this plant did not flower last year but it has done well this time. But as you say, it might need a bit of `management`. It looks like this at the moment.....

They have been particularly good in the hedgerows this year, around our way.

Looks gorgeous, red campion is a lovely plant and deserves a place in any garden, IMO.
