What is this flower please

Hello all.

I came back frommy holiday to discover these in my flower beds. They're lovely, and as you can see one is pinky purple, and the other is a bluey purple. Does anyone know what they are.

many thanks.

They're Aquilegia (aka Granny's Bonnets, Columbine)

Thank you Dove. The thing is I never planted these. Have they self seeded from someone's garden Dove?

Or the seeds could have been laying dormant in your garden for years and something happened to trigger them growing.  Aren't they lovely image

It might have been all the horse manure I had delivered for my roses. They are lovely and blend in so beautifully with my purple, pink and red colour scheme. It was lovely to come baco home to new flo plants I hadn't plants myself. ????????
