Portuguese laurel bushes with yellow leaves/brown spots
Hello,
My six lovely portuguese laurel bushes have been thriving this spring - or so I thought. Leaves on each plant are developing brown spots, with yellow around them, and falling off. (see picture). It is affecting small areas of each bush, in clustered areas.
I've removed as many of these leaves as I can see and have tried to clear the leaves from the surrounding soil.
Do you know what this disease is? Is there anything else I can do? Should I be watering these plants regularly? They were planted last year as mature shrubs so they found their first year difficult but seem to have established fairly well.
Thanks

Thanks Edd. Is that shot hole disease? There aren't any actual holes but I wondered if that could be it.
Just pick them off, pick out the top shoots of all the plants and cut off any wispy bits, to promote more fresh growth lower down.
There is no cure really, you dont want to start spraying with this that and the other, they will be ok in a month or two.
