Fargesia nitida overgrown
I have a beautiful Fargesia nitida (Chinese Fountain Bamboo) in the back garden but it is now covering far too large an area. The base is a clump of about 2 to 3 foot diameter, with the arching stems probably covering nearer 8 to 10 foot diameter. I want to reduce the overall size, without destroying the plant. Any idea what the best way to tackle it is?
