    It's why I don't bother with them here Verd - too much rain and too many slugs early on in the year. Hardy geraniums for me - tough as old boots,value for money in every way and they cover old bulb foliage and provide a foil for other planting. Potentillas and Euphorbias for the same reasons.

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
