Bugs and markings on return from holiday

Hello,

We have just returned back from a weeks holiday and a lot of my plants seems to have lots of markings on them.  Some look like mildew, but I'm not sure.  I have looked in my expert books but am unable to find a match.

Can anyone help with what they are and any treatments. We watered things well before we left, and the things we not dried out on our return as there had been rain whilst we had been away.

From top to bottom the images are Alstroemeria, Geranium, Delphinium, Nicotiana, Petunia and Sweet Pea

We had some heavy hail storms this week. Some of my plants look like that where they were hit by the hail.

Looks to me like they have been watered with a hosepipe and the sun has come out afterwards  image

They were watered at around 6am in the morning before we left, the day was apparently cloudy with no sun.

Apparently no hail storms where we live last week.

Looks like leafhopper damage to me.  You either get an infestation of these or none at all in my experience.  Had them a few years ago and all of my brassicas had that sort of damage to the leaves which looks like something has sucked the life out of a small spot (which is exactly what they do.)  See if you can find any of them under the plants - they jump like fleas:

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Thanks for the. Coments I hope it was the weather can't do anything about that. Cheers Tony.
  • Yes i did and decided that although it is unsightly it did'nt require extra treatment other than removing all infected leaves and  a feed to boost the plant, its good to know its not ongoing, thanks for the advice.image
