I read a few months back that it was time to prune Cornus. Is it too late to prune now, how much could I take off now just to keep it under control?
It is currently about 5ft high and in flower ?
Am I right in thinking the best time to prune it is early spring, when new growth starting, and if so how low do you take it ?

Its a bit late to be pruning a cornus now. The RHS has some advice on the best time.
