  My apple tree has a white almost like cotton wool on some of the branches, but its sticky to touch. Its only on some branches, what is it please and how do I treat it

  my son has an apple which was given to him but the only information he has is 'summer red'. He would like to know how best to use these please. The tree is young, the second summer of planting. Many thanks

  I think most people are put off by lack of knowledge about tree sizes, pruning etcetera.

  I bought a tree from a well known store in spring and it didn't even state the size code (here's hoping its not a monster)
