'Dead' soil
in Plants
I've just pulled up the wallflowers and the soil is very dry and not a worm to be seen. I intend to plant Rudbeckia and Canterbury Bells plants in the empty border. Would it be helpful if I dig in a bag of Farmyard Manure that I bought from the Garden Centre? Thank you for any advice, Mags

Thanks for your reply. Both packets of seed came free with a magazine. They are T&M seed or Fothergills seed. I want the all the plants for this year only. The Rudbeckias I sowed this year and the Cant Bells last year. I will use this Garden centre compost now, and horse manure in the autumn. Mags
