Can Kniphofia be grown in pots?
They can certainly grow in pots for sometime and do very well in large containers and raised beds. They like moist free draining soil, so I assume that is where Susan Porter's feedback is coming from. Small pots equals they dry out and die.
No raised beds are not pots. Pots also tend to freeze their roots which would not happen in the ground.
Anyone heard of water granules?
"Anyone heard of water granules?"
Not suitable over winter.
Thanks everyone for advice
