Companion planting

in true cottage garden style I am mixing vegetables in with flowers. i have a prodigous growth of foxgloves in a 120cm square planter. I have recently planted a row of peas to the side of this planter. Will the peas be affected by the digitalus poisin and now be dangerous to eat?

No, the foxgloves won't affect anything growing around  them, your peas will be fine image

I often have  foxgloves pop up in my veg patch from the seeds in the home made compost - if they're not in the way I leave them where they are - they're fine.image
