ID plant from Dan Pearson's Chelsea Garden ...

image

Had a great time at Chelsea yesterday, loved Dan Pearson's garden and all the planting - can anyone identify this plant for me (the one with the lemon flowers).

Looks like a form of polygonatum to me.   Solomon's Seal.

Looks like a clematis to me.

Where were people finding those plant lists from the Chelsea gardens

You could well be right Nut.

An interesting plant but I would favour the thoughts on Polygonatum.  Leaves look okay for this to me but the numerous flowers are slightly unusual.

Have just checked a copy of his plant list and nothing vaguely like it appears on list.

Not uvularia whose stems are more upright and the flowers more yellow.  Lovely plant though.

I have recently seen a small herbaceous clematis a bit like this but can't think where and yes, it does look Solomon's Sealish too.   A mystery.

It's the stems and leaf arrangement that say clematis to me.

I believe it's Polygonatum Betberg, a dark leaved variety of Solomon's Seal
