  • Thank you very much for all this information Gardeners World has Kept for me over all these Years after Passing Biology .Budding Grafting Experimating on all plant Deviding Bulbs,Root Grating .Making Fruit and Roses Bigger .Even the Peligonium Larger Wonderful Time i had through 1950 Teaching Gardening.Thank you again Gardeners World never thought you would have kept all these Experiments .Love Bob Dunford

    If you wish to thank G's World personally, it would be better to contact them, or the BBC  directly.  :)

  • While working on a farm 1953 ,we would grow more trees for rootstock by burying the root and plant leaving the top out ,the buds on the tree would send up young trees with roots ,which we would cut out and plant giving us more rooting stock to graft ,do they not do this anymore,
