Fairy - airman sculpture was made of layers of thin metal sheet, stacked up with a tiny space between each one - it made it look transparent and ghostlike. At first we thought it was a hologram and spent a while looking to find the projector (). We listened to the designer explain - he got his son to dress in airforce gear and they made a lifesize 3D print of him, then used that as the model.
I have never seen anything like it ...quite blew me away
