Pineberries? Not tried them myself - http://www.crocus.co.uk/plants/_/fragaria-ananassa-pineberry-white-dream/classid.2000018084/
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I grow a fair few including worcesterberry which are just like sweet red gooseberries but on a thornless bush - a massive bonus come picking time! Cuttings also root incredibly easy - just shove them in the ground.
Have a look at the selection at Chris Bowers where many of mine came from:

I got the 'connoisseur' collection:

Medlar and quince are nice trees and you rarely see fresh fruit in the shops. Mulberry trees are very attractive, the fruit I tried was rather insipid. Japanese quince are shrubs with colourful flowers, and fruit that can be cooked to produce a sharp lemony jam like product.
thank you all so much plenty to work on
I would recommend Japanese wineberries. They look good, taste great And are easy to grow. Freeze well too.
I've planted a goji berry not sure what they grow like (it's looking quite healthy) not sure what to do with the fruit either! suppose I'll google it if I get some fruit.
My gogi berry bush got eaten by snails first year, they stripped all leaves, . put it in greenhouse and surrounded it with slug pellets, one of my cherry trees has the same problem but put petroleum jelly around the trunk seems to keep them off.
ordered Worcester berry from amazon and it hasn't arrived seller has said he will sort it .
A friend has given me a cutting off Hop plant and its growing in just over a week has new set of leaf. so pleased with that.
thanks for all comments love this forum great to exchange ideas
yes have been told that about hops but a florist wants garlands and will pay me for them , not that I will get loads . so will give it a go. perhaps I will put it in a pot now you have warned me , thanks
