Hi guys,
Does anyone know if Ceanothus are a good bee/butterfly attractor?
Thanks,

It's on a lot of the bee plant lists but I've never noticed it attracting many
In the sticks near Peterborough
We used to have one and it would be buzzing with bees.
The thing I find is, especially if you look at the "Perfect for pollinators" list, pretty much every plant is on there!
However it scores 90 on here which is quite high:

Yes mine always full of Bees.
Don't know about ceanothus but Cerinthe major attracts bees like a honeypot!
I've never seen any bees on my ceanothus - perhaps there are some which are bee-attracting and some that aren't?
My ceanothus Concha was, in fact still is, buzzing with bees.
Looks spectacular as well.
Borage was the best here last year.
Also Echium and echinops, there were loads actually.
