Tomato seedlings not growing

Tessa HTessa H Posts: 5

Can someone help me as this year my tomato seedlings are just not growing. I sowed the seed, some new and some collected from last years crop ( in total about 10 different varieties) and they germinated fine and I potted them on and now after nearly 8 weeks they are still small and puny without any of the vigour of the last few years. And several small plants have yellowing leaves.

They are in a greenhouse with plenty of warmth and light. Used same compost.

please can anyone give me advice as how to get them growing on strongly again as at this rate no tomatoes this year....!

It sounds like a compost problem. I'd repot into something new.

Did you wait until they had proper leaves if you do it too soon that can Stop them you could try a high nitrogen feed just to get them growing make sure there not
